For this project funded by the Regional Municipality of York, CY Ripples partnered with Markham and Newmarket's Community Action Tables (CAT) and engaged with youth in both communities, providing them with a unique opportunity to learn computer building and website development skills by using donated used computers.

 

The  six computer training sessions we held during the weekends of February 10, 24 and March 2 in South Markham and Central Newmarket, respectively, were a great success. At the end, each participant was able to take home a computer that they had built by themselves.​
