Device collection and preparation is an ongoing process run by our team members and many volunteers all year round, through advertising at schools and communities in York Region, Ontario.

 

Collecting used computer devices for refurbishing and reusing benefits the environment by reducing e-waste. It also helps bridge the digital divide by providing affordable technology to underserved communities. Additionally, it promotes sustainable practices by extending the lifespan of electronic devices.

Our team members have spent many volunteering hours checking the status of the collected device, replacing damaged parts, installing operation systems, and matching accessories so that they are prepared for the workshop training and donation purposes.
